This page explains the cookies and similar on-device storage we use, and the choices you control through the banner shown on your first visit.

Essential storage

These are always on, because the site does not work without them. They are kept on your own device and are not used for tracking:

• Your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every visit.
• Saved stays and recently viewed for the wishlist. This lives only in your browser and never reaches our servers.

Optional cookies

These run only if you choose Accept all. They are off by default:

• Maps. The interactive map on Explore loads from Mapbox, which may set its own cookies when the map is shown.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4, to understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it. It loads only after you accept, with IP anonymisation on, and sets its own cookies. We do not use it for advertising.

Changing your choice

You can clear your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will bring the banner back on your next visit. We honour the choice you make before any optional provider is loaded.
